Roberto Pinales

I am a full stack software engineer transitioning from the restaurant industry. At General Assembly, I’ve been able to immerse myself in software development and grow in my ability to problem solve challenging tasks. I am interested in how code can be structured to be scalable and resilient, leveraging the strength of various technologies to achieve the final product. Through my previous roles, I have experience managing complex projects and teams. I thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy resolving ambiguity quickly, focusing on delivering excellent customer experiences. 
 I became interested in software development when I founded a start-up to connect catering companies directly with bartenders & servers. Once I started delving deeper into the technology, I understood how software development could allow me to realize my ideas. My favorite part is being able to write software and create a product that people can use to achieve something.
